The Chorley and South Ribble CCG is responsible for arranging medical services out-of-hours (between 18:30 and 08:30 Monday to Friday, and weekends and bank holidays.)
Please ring 111 if you need medical advice when the surgery is closed.
Most of the doctors providing out of hours care will still be local general practitioners.
Please contact your own doctor during regular hours where possible as the out of hours service is only able to cope with emergencies.
Patients with profound deafness may contact the out-of-hours service by Fax. For details of this service please contact Reception.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
