The Practice Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and is available to discuss any suggestions, compliments or complaints you may have.


Medicine Co-ordinator

The Practice has a medicine co-ordinator who is responsible for adding, removing and changing any medications prescribed to patients once approved by the GP. She also deals with hospital discharge medication once approved by the GP.

Any queries you have regarding your medication please contact the medicines co-ordinator on the surgery number.

Note Summariser

The practice has a member of staff who is responsible for summarising new patient notes onto the computer system. This will enable the doctor to have a full medical history available to him when you visit the surgery for an appointment.

Practice Administrator

The practice employs an administrator who is responsible for medical and Insurance reports, referral letters, summarising letters and general admin duties.


The practice employs three receptionists; they are qualified, competent and caring and are bound by the same confidentiality rules as the Doctors and Nurses. Please do not be offended if, when telephoning, they ask for details. This will ensure they can assist you as speedily as possible.

The practice employs a secretary who is responsible for the referral letters, summarising letters, reports, booking meetings and general secretarial duties.
